Where is Camping du Goulet located?

The campsite is located in Brest, just 6 km from the city center and 500 m from the sea. To plan your itinerary, click here.

Is the campsite open all year round?

The campsite is open from 11/04/2025 to 28/09/2025, with a winter break. Online bookings are available all year round.

Is it possible to come without a reservation?

Yes, pitches for motorhomes, caravans and tents are subject to availability. However, in high season, we strongly advise you to book in advance.
Mobile home rentals are by reservation only, by telephone, e-mail or on our website.

What types of accommodation do you offer?

We offer:
– Comfortable mobile homes with 2 or 3 bedrooms for 1 to 6 people
– Unusual accommodations

Are mobile homes fully equipped?

Yes, each mobile home has a fully-equipped kitchen, bathroom, sitting area with TV and outdoor space.

Do I have to pay a deposit when I move in? When can I get my deposit back?

A deposit of €150 and a deposit of €80 are required on arrival for all rental stays. They are payable by cheque, cash or credit card (not debited). Your deposit will be returned to you on the day of your departure after checking that your rental is in good condition.

What are the arrival and departure times for mobile homes?

Arrivals are from 4pm and departures at 10am.

Are sheets, towels, comforters and blankets provided?

Sheets are not provided, but you can rent a sheet kit on request.
Towels are not provided either.
All our rentals are equipped with blankets and pillows.

Can I rent a cot or high chair?

Yes, we offer baby kits for €6 a day, including: a cot
and a high chair.

Am I allowed to invite family or friends to the mobile home? If so, is there a charge?

Visitors are allowed on the campsite within the limits of the pitch’s capacity and must report to reception; they are liable for the “visitor” fee.
Gatherings are forbidden on the campsite.

Locations

What types of pitches do you offer?

Spacious, green pitches averaging 100 m² with water and electricity as required.

Can I bring my camper van?

Yes, the campsite welcomes motorhomes with dedicated pitches. The campsite also has a motorhome service area, reserved exclusively for campsite guests.

What are the arrival and departure times for pitches?

A deposit of €150 and a deposit of €80 are required on arrival for all rental stays. They are payable by cheque, cash or credit card (not debited). Your deposit will be returned to you on the day of your departure after checking that your rental is in good condition.

What are the arrival and departure times for mobile homes?

Arrivals are from 2pm and departures are for 12pm.

What type of electrical outlets are available on the pitches? Is electricity included in the price?

Pitches are equipped with French or European plugs. Adapters are available at reception (deposit required). Available amperage is 10A.
Electricity is optional: you can choose a pitch with or without electricity, depending on your needs.

Please note: for safety reasons, the recharging of electric vehicles is strictly forbidden on pitch sockets or in mobile homes. These facilities are not designed for this purpose.
Dedicated recharging points are available throughout the campsite. Please ask at reception.

What are the maximum dimensions for caravans and campers?

If your motorhome or caravan is longer than 7.5m, we can offer you pitches for motorhomes that are suitable in terms of size and access. Please do not hesitate to contact us.

Access & surroundings

Is the campsite close to the sea?

Yes, a pedestrian access leads to the sea, more precisely to the small fishing port of Maison Blanche, in less than 10 minutes (about 500 meters).

How easy is it to get to Brest?

Yes, Brest city center is only 6 km away. There are regular bus services just 500 m from the campsite.

How easy is it to visit the region from the campsite?

Of course! The campsite is an excellent base for visiting Brest, the Abers region, Ouessant, the Crozon peninsula, Pointe Saint-Mathieu or the Capucins in Brest. Our team will be happy to advise you on all the great things to do nearby.

Animals

Are pets allowed?

Yes, pets are welcome under certain conditions (leashes, vaccination records, categorized dogs not allowed…).

Booking & payment

How to make a reservation

You can book directly online via our secure platform or by telephone (02 98 45 86 84).

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept payment by credit card, bank transfer, vacation vouchers (ANCV) and cash.

Do you require a deposit?

Yes, a deposit of 30% of the total cost of your stay is required to confirm your reservation.

Can I pay in instalments?

Yes, payment in instalments is possible for all bookings made in advance. Please do not hesitate to contact us on 02.98.45.86.84 or by e-mail info@campingdugoulet.fr

When is the balance due?

The balance of the stay must be paid 30 days before arrival.

Is the campsite VACAF approved?

No, Camping du Goulet is not VACAF approved.
However, we do accept ANCV vacation vouchers, including connect vacation vouchers.

Services & Activities

Is there a swimming pool?

Yes, the campsite has a heated indoor swimming pool with a children’s area, open all season long. From May 28, 2025 to August 31, 2025 our heated outdoor pool is open, with slides, whirlpool and paddling pool for children.

Are there any animations?

In high season (July/August), there’s entertainment for young and old alike: kids’ club, teen activities, games, evening events, sports activities, workshops…

Do you offer a catering service?

Yes, you’ll find a snack/bar on site with takeaways, ice creams, drinks and Breton specialities. The bar is open all season. The snack bar is open for lunch and dinner in July and August.

Is there Wi-Fi on the campsite?

FREE Wi-Fi access is available throughout the campsite.

Family / Grandparents & grandchildren

Is the campsite child-friendly?

Absolutely! Camping du Goulet offers an aquatic area (outdoor pool with slides and heated indoor pool), a playground, a multisports field, an inflatable structure and a kids’ club every morning in summer.

Is it safe for children?

Yes, the campsite has large, enclosed, quiet areas. Each mobile home has its own private garden, where children can play in complete safety.

Are there any family activities?

Yes, in high season (July/August): we offer a kids’ club every morning from Monday to Friday, teen activities in the afternoon, dance evenings, mini-disco, pétanque… There’s something for all ages!

Welcoming hikers & bikers

How far is the campsite from the cycle paths?

Camping du Goulet is right on the Brest cycle routes and just 300m from the Véloroute Littorale (V45). It’s easily accessible for cycle tourists.

Is the GR34 nearby?

Yes, the famous GR34 long-distance hiking trail, also known as the “sentier des douaniers”, passes within 500m of the campsite, making it an ideal stopover for hikers.

Do you offer a special rate for soft mobility travelers?

Yes, a reduced rate is available for hikers and cyclists (on foot, by bike…) in July and August only. Find out more about our “Escale rando/vélo” rate here.

Is there somewhere covered to take shelter?

Yes, a covered and accessible area is available for itinerants to rest or take shelter in bad weather.

Do you offer overnight accommodation?

Yes, some of our unusual accommodations are available for overnight stays, even in high season, to welcome hikers or cyclists passing through. Reservations required.

Shopping & markets

Are there supermarkets nearby?

Yes, there are several supermarkets and convenience stores just a few minutes from the campsite (Carrefour, Intermarché, Lidl…). It’s easy to do your shopping there, by bike or by car.

Where are the nearest markets?

Here are the markets not to be missed during your stay:
